One photograph, one artwork
This is Vello #001 and the mirror selfie it came from. Drag to compare, or tap if you are on a phone. We never hide the source photograph: the distance between an ordinary picture and the object on the wall is the whole point.
Faces are softened, never distorted. Backgrounds are simplified rather than invented. We do not add objects or change what happened in the photograph.
The four steps

Choose a photograph that already matters. We tell you straight away whether it is comfortable at the size you want, and we never block you: a tight photograph gets a note and a one tap move to the next size down.
- 02We create
Your moment is interpreted in the Vello language: broad palette knife gestures, softened detail, a warm painterly ground. Pose, hand placement, clothing silhouette and the relationship between you are preserved before any colour is laid down.
- 03You approve, we perfect
A person compares likeness, hands, eyes, composition, background, colour and the signature to your original. Then you see it. Ask for a change and we make it. There is no cap on that.
- 04Made for your wall
Produced as Fine Art, canvas or framed, signed and dated, then delivered in an unboxing designed to be kept.
How long it takes
There are two clocks, and we keep them separate. One is us making your Vello. The other is a courier crossing Europe. These are guidance, not guarantees.

You get an email when your artwork enters creation, another when your preview is ready, and another with tracking when it ships.

All prices in euro, VAT included. Shipping is shown before the order button. The struck through number is the list price; the one beside it is what you pay at launch.

Framed pieces come in black, natural oak, white, all with acrylic glazing. Glass is not insurable in transit and it destroys the artwork when it breaks, so we do not use it.
A second copy of the same artwork is 30 percent off. The creative work is done once, so the second one costs less to make.
What arrives
Your artwork, protected by an outer art box, glassine and cream tissue sealed with a matte Vello seal. Inside: one Story Card, your Certificate of Authenticity with your Vello ID, and the Memory Box that stays with you.
The certificate does not claim your Vello was painted by hand. It records provenance: made exclusively from your moment, documented by Vello. Read The Vello Promise for what happens if anything goes wrong.
